The Opportunity
- Lead our IT recruitment team and oversee the hiring process for our technical positions. As a Head of Recruitment for Technology Roles, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing the full cycle of IT recruitment, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent for our IT department.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of technical recruiters, ensuring they deliver high-quality results and meet their targets. Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies, using various sourcing methods and platforms, such as job boards, social media, online communities, referrals, etc.
- Partner with IT leaders and managers to understand their hiring needs, define job requirements, and create attractive job descriptions.
- Screen and interview candidates for technical roles, using a combination of technical, behavioral, and situational questions, as well as technical assessments and tests.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers and stakeholders on the best candidates for each role.
- Negotiate and extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manage and update the IT talent pipeline and candidate database, using Workday and other tools.
- Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, etc.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the IT industry and the technical skills and competencies required for each role.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT professionals, industry experts, and external partners.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Head of Recruitment, Technical Recruiter, IT Recruiter, or a similar role in the IT industry.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of recruiters, preferably in a technical domain.
- Expertise in various recruitment methods and platforms, such as job boards, social media, online communities, etc.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and Workday
