Responsibilities:
- Support existing processes including but not limited to troubleshooting, maintenance and re-development for optimization of database system.
- Maintain and improve existing group business quotation tools with Excel and VBA
- Participate in any other assigned projects by team leader
Database system
- Design, implement, and continuously expand data acquisition by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
- Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way that's geared towards the needs of end users
- Maintain and improve already existing processes and MSSQL scripts
- Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable
- Investigate data to identify potential issues, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions
- Prepare documentation for further reference
Group quotation tool
- Ensure accurate quotes
- Monitor and updated “Quotes Log” and prepare conversion ratio reporting
- Review and maintain the tool
- Assist in group product refresh strategies to grow the business as well as profitability
Working effectively with stakeholders and team members including:
- Underwriting team, actuarial, pricing Teams
- Finance team for reporting and budget
- Business development manager, sales and marketing
- Change management
- Risk and compliance
- Local entity product management and operations teams
- Claims team
Requirements
- Education: Business Administration/Mathematics/ Actuarial Science/Computing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Detail oriented with strong analytical problem solving
- Flexibility to change in timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
