Job Description:

  • To design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base.
  • To secure and retain target client accounts through professional, consultative sales activities.
  • Analyze various sectors and trends within the market industry in business segment, determine their impact on the business, design and execute the most appropriate market approach strategy.
  • Achieve growth and profitability targets in line with pre agreed annual targets.
  • Represent the best interests of the product in all internal / external meetings and negotiations
  • To develop account strategies with specific objectives and action items for the Singapore and Malaysia Cluster
  • Grow project pipeline by prospecting, identifying and evaluating new opportunities.
  • To generate a monthly report citing overall value of pipeline vs. the agreed annual targets, weighted evaluation on ability to close and expected timelines.
  • Gather market data and competitive intelligence through customer interaction, key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies and other sources.
  • Remain current in market trends, technology and best practices, to ensure relevance when engaging with prospective customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with key target customers across the decision-making matrix
  • Fully review and understand all RFI / RFQ / RFP requests, in order to work with the operational and solutions teams for a go – no go decision on opportunities
  • Take an active lead in the RFI/RFQ/RFP negotiations in order to close the business. Highlight and escalate any support is needed either operationally or commercially to Head of Sales and Country Management
  • Working with the operational and solutions teams, develop operationally, commercially attractive solutions that exceed customer expectations
  • Confidently understand, present and explain solutions in order to close the business
  • Prepare and handover to implementation team after contractual agreement is finalized
  • Ensure the daily operational process of customer care for all secured accounts meet both the needs of the customers and the business.
  • Ensure timely update of customer’s records to ensure
  • Resolving key clients’ issues and complaints.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Business Development experience
  • Diploma / Degree in any discipline
  • Preferably candidates who are able to start in short notice
