Marine Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair navigation and communication equipment on board vessels.
2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment such as radar systems, GPS equipment, and radio communication devices.
3. Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify faults in navigation and communication systems.
4. Prepare and present detailed service reports to management.
5. Train crew members on the proper use of navigation and communication equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new communication systems.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in marine navigation and communication technology.
9. Provide excellent customer service to clients and build strong client relationships.
10. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service provision.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Navigation and Communication Service Engineer or similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of marine navigation and communication systems.
3. Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
4. Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging marine environments.
5. Min Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
