Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair navigation and communication equipment on board vessels.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment such as radar systems, GPS equipment, and radio communication devices.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify faults in navigation and communication systems.
- Prepare and present detailed service reports to management.
- Train crew members on the proper use of navigation and communication equipment.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new communication systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in marine navigation and communication technology.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and build strong client relationships.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service provision.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Navigation and Communication Service Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of marine navigation and communication systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging marine environments.
- Min Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
