Responsibilities
· You are expected to achieve targets set which involves calling of policyholders on a daily basis to initiate recovery;
· Engage and communicate with our policyholders to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party;
· Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed with the claims recovery process; Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial consultants;
· Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of call activities and outcomes;
· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Any other ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by supervisor.
Skills/Requirement
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery and/or claim operations experience;
· Prior experience in customer service will be an added advantage;
· Good verbal and written communication skills;
· Team player as well as capable of individual performance;
· Excellent organizational and time management skills;
· Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required;
· Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statutes, regulations and subrogation processing is a plus;
· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork; and
· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
