Training and Development
- Be a strategic partner with Retail team to oversee, formulate and execute effective training and development initiatives that are aligned with business strategies as well as organizational plans
- Collaborate with Regional Training & Local HR team to identify the training needs, and diagnose learning gaps of different levels of retail staff
- Develop and drive a learning culture in the Boutiques and among the staff
- Create the annual training plan, budget related costs and review the plan periodically
- Lead the team to provide timely and effective trainings based on annual training plan
- Work closely with the Boutiques to roll out training & development programs to uplift Dior image, service standard, selling techniques, clienteling and other soft skills etc.
- Act as a Field Coach to Boutique staff to train the selling techniques and the clienteling skill in order to provide a best & unique experience to clients
- Partner with internal parties, such as Merchandising, Client Development and Marketing teams to provide trainings in the period of new product launch or when the Boutiques have any special events
- Collaborate with outside vendors to facilitate trainings programs when needed
- Evaluate training effectiveness to make sure the skills & techniques learnt from the trainings are fully utilized
- Regular update the training progress and prepare necessary reports for management review
People Management and Development
- Translate the strategic business goals into concrete individual goals, monitor and assess to staff performance against their goals regularly to make sure the progress is on the right track
- Delegate the job to the team in an efficient and effective manner
- Provide directions and closely follow up with the team on the work progress
- Manage the team with constructive & qualitative feedback and provide suitable coaching to them
- Understand individual career aspiration as well as their potential for developing your staff to the next level
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Diploma or university graduate in Fashion & Textile, Merchandising, Business Administration or related discipline
Work Experience
- Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with at least 6 years at supervisory level in luxury retail industry
