Job Description:
As a Sales Manager in the wire and cable sales division, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for leading a dynamic sales team, developing strategic initiatives, and cultivating strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the wire and cable industry, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning:Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
Collaborate with the executive team to set sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.
- Market Analysis:Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and threats.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.
- Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge:Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our wire and cable products, features, and applications.
Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling capabilities.
- Reporting and Analysis:Generate regular sales reports and analytics to evaluate performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Present findings and recommendations to the executive team.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Industry Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of the wire and cable industry, including products, applications, and market trends.
