A. Business Development
- Reach out to customer leads through various sales techniques (i.e teleconferencing, in-person meeting, outbound campaigns, etc) to understand and meet customers' demands for create the sales opportunities, closing deals and sales growing.
- Prepare the quote price, trading terms, sales agreement and proposal to potential customer.
- Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Sell company products to retailers/ E-commercial platform directly or indirectly by coordinating with distributors and brokers. Ensure strategies align with the overall business mode.
- Work with Sales Representative in assigned market to develop company products, complying with sales and brand strategy.
- Drive distributors to attain business growth objectives through new business wins and capturing market share.
- Enhance the business by gaining new points of distribution, measure and improve products display execution.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans within the territory by Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly to achieve target volume and revenue volume.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends to develop and execute strategies with retailers to grow business opportunities. i.e. new products, promotional planning, and merchandising.
B. Customer Relationship Management:
- Resolve customer problems and complaints effectively to maintain the good relationship with customer and ensure to offer excellent customer services.
- Become part of the Distributor team to increase share of mind and demonstrate best practices to motivate them to raise business.
- Foster strong partnership with Distributor/Retailer as well as evaluate list of potential distributors carefully to appoint right and appropriate distributor for company products brand.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention efforts through effective lead generation, customer relationship management (CRM), and customer loyalty programs.
C. Product and Market Knowledge:
- Be an expert in comprehending and delivering messages relating to company products as well as coconut product applications, technical sales, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
- Well understand with market requirements, distribution universal and key players within the territory to build the right route to market for each product category.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
D. Other:
- Prepare and deliver the Management sales report included market data, market trends, customer needs, competitive activities, sales status, sales forecast, actual sales by monthly/ quarterly/ yearly report and others as required by management in written or verbally.
- Coordinate with sales support, logistic, accounting, marketing, R&D on cross-functional tasks.
- Travel internationally to meet customers, attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and other company events to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- All other duties as assigned periodically by manager.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of extensive sales experience, especially in terms of the food ingredients and beverages industry.
- Language required: Proficient in the language of assigned market and English.
- Speaking the Chinese language is an added advantage.
- Have network with potential customers in the market with great networking skills.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying the challenges and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences.
- Wiiling to travel internationally are required.
