Your Position:
In your new role as a Business Development Specialist, you will be a part of our Renewables division, which has developed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations, with activities spanning across Europe, Asia and the USA.
Here, you will have the opportunity to make your mark on our growing organization, contributing to the strengthening and development of our activities within the APAC region. Above all, your work will play a crucial role in meeting the world's growing energy demand.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Business Development Specialist, you will mature and develop initiatives from business development to strategic initiatives with the primary focus on growing the APAC region.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Scouting and maturing potential DEVEX opportunities within the APAC region.
- Supporting and driving elements with an analytical aspect across strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with SD ambitions and targets.
- Mapping customers, partners, and the supply chain within the APAC region.
- Maturing and developing business development initiatives in collaboration with project owners and teams.
- Developing presentation materials for internal and external purposes, e.g., board materials etc.
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a result driven and disciplined business professional who is passionate about business development and wants to leave their mark on it. You have a proactive and organised approach to your work and are eager to drive our business to further success.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A master’s degree in business studies from an acknowledged Business School.
- Experience with business development in the offshore wind industry.
- Familiarity with EPC projects; exposure to offshore substation projects is preferred.
- Experience in interacting with international wind farm developers is preferred.
- Strong skills in strategic development and strategy execution.
- Strong skills in materializing thoughts into reports, presentations etc. to connect the dots from early maturity and turn it into business needs.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
