The Opportunity:

A positive climate of Employee Relations (ER) – with high levels of employee involvement, commitment and engagement – can improve patient outcomes, teamwork amongst employees and contribute towards employee well-being. The incumbent will support the ER team and work closely with HR Business Partners, Heads of Departments/ Reporting Officers and ER Centre of Excellence to support the ER function in JurongHealth Campus and Jurong Medical Centre.


Job Responsibilities:


Disciplinary matters

  • Assist in the handling of disciplinary cases, including secretariat support for the investigations.
  • Track the progress of each case to ensure closure.
  • Assist in the preparation of disciplinary letters etc.
  • Maintain the database of all ER cases

Employee Grievances

  • Assist in the investigation of the grievances raised.
  • Partner with HRBPs in providing appropriate advice and support rendered to employees.

Union Relations

  • Provide secretariat support in Management-Union meetings.
  • Ensure the logistics for meetings are well coordinated.

Others

  • Support the writing of meeting minutes and investigation reports and maintenance of the reports.
  • Support in HR activities and projects and/or initiatives, as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Good knowledge with Employment laws and regulations
  • Good writing and presentation skills, with attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal, communications skills and team player with willingness to learn
  • Working experience in secretariat and/or project coordination work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
