Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing event experiences independently from conceptualisation through completion – planning and preparations, coordinating, setting up, on-site event management and post-event retrospective.
• Develop and manage budgets for each event including negotiating with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality supplies and services.
• Attend site recce with clients and vendors for feasibility studies and provide advice on suitable setup based on the existing infrastructural provision.
• Work closely with clients, service and kitchen operations teams, other internal departments, external vendors and contractors to ensure smooth operations for every event, including but not limited to the coordination of timeline, manpower, appropriate licenses, logistics, technical & housekeeping issues.
• Conduct rehearsals to ensure smooth event flow and troubleshoot any potential issues.
• Be visible to clients during their event and handle feedback and complaints from guests to ensure they are resolved promptly.
• Prepare and present reports detailing event metrics, financials, and client feedback post-event.
• Confirm and reconcile all vendor invoices post-event.
• Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality, F&B, events or wedding planning industry
• Ability to manage budgets and financial resources
• A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with a positive mindset
• Possess strong interpersonal skill, result-oriented, ability to multi-task with strong planning and organisational skills
• Works well under pressure especially with time constraints and dealing with unplanned circumstances during events
• Proficient in English, written and communication
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and PH
