Position title : Mechanical Process Engineer
- Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
- Working hours: 9am – 6pm (Flexible working hours)
- Location: WFH, NORTH BRIDGE
Responsibilities:
- Modifications to existing automation software (Siemens and similar) and to a smaller degree software for Rockwell.
- Creating new programmes for company system processes with transportation mechanical plants and developments.
- Quality checking equipment and software provided by subcontractors at plant manufacturers in South East Asia (and elsewhere as needed).
- Quality checking of electrical and pneumatic diagrams and equipment.
- Full FAT of plant equipment at the manufacturers before shipping and responsible for immediate reporting of all types of mistakes and errors to company with no delay and implement corrections in production during FAT test and reporting to company with all details before shipment of the turn-key projects.
- Installation/ commissioning and start up at the customers´site.
- Heavily involvement in commissioning/start-up, troubleshooting with the company during the work, optimization of large machinery/equipment systems world-wide but primarily in Singapore, US & Europe
- Trouble-shooting existing plants by phone/video with the subcontractors
- Support sales by reviewing specifications and customer requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and above
- Willing to travel for up to estimated 90-150 days a year and more when production and sales are increasing. Project assignments overseas is mostly for 1 - 3 weeks per project only.
- Responsibility for all drawings on the base of draft or oral design ideas of company of skids-based solutions, pressure vessels and storage tanks, material handling and new developments, both drawings and corrections for production purposes and for sales purposes.
- Quality checking of received mechanical documentation from subcontractors.
- Preparation of mechanical documentation for the individual projects.
