Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master who is fluent in Mandarin and possesses a strong background in the commodities space. The ideal candidate will facilitate and drive Agile and Scrum practices within our organization, ensuring successful delivery of projects in the dynamic commodities industry. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Scrum Process Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile and Scrum principles, helping them maximize productivity and achieve sprint goals.
Team Empowerment:
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum practices, fostering a self-organizing and cross-functional team culture.
- Empower teams to continuously improve their processes and delivery capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and other teams to understand requirements, priorities, and dependencies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and business stakeholders.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and address impediments, issues, and risks that may hinder the team's progress.
- Collaborate with teams to find effective solutions and escalate when necessary.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Implement and maintain relevant metrics to track team performance and project progress.
- Provide regular and transparent reporting on team velocity, sprint progress, and project status.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the organization.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices.
Requirements:
Language Skills:
Fluent in Mandarin (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking team members and stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
Previous experience in the commodities industry is highly desirable.
Certifications:
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
