Reporting to the Head of IT Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Job Scope and Responsibilities
- Developing, enhancing, deploying, supporting and maintaining of the new or existing system based on the end-user/business users’ requirement
- Responsible for daily system support
- Coordinating of internal resources and external vendors for regional business process enhancement
- Preparing of system documentations such as Functional Specification, Users’ Guide
- Conducting of end-users trainings
- Managing Database Server (creation, scheme design, setup, administration, migration, configuration, performance tuning, etc.)
- Providing ERP functional and programming support and troubleshoot for subsidiaries in region
- Undertaking any other assigned duties
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
- More than 8-10 years of experiences in software development or ERP support preferred
- Knowledge of OOP/OOA/OOD (Object Oriented Programming, Analysis, Design)
- Knowledge in Order Management, Purpose Order, Inventory Control, Production Control and Scheduling
- Experience in supporting ERP running on IBM AS/400 and/or RPG & CL Programming skills will be added advantage
- Experience in ERP applications in the Manufacturing/Distributions Sector preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
- Possess strong desire to learn and a keen interest on the latest software technology trends
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills and the ability to multi-tasking are essential
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Minimum 5 years of experience in overseas posting preferred
