Duties
(1) Laptop Tech Refresh
. Backup user's data (in old laptop)
. Setup new laptop - Follow standard procedures
. Restore user's data
. Generate Asset Issuance and Return forms
(2) Issue PSM secure thumbdrive
. Issue PSM to users
. Generate Asset Issuance form
(3) Issue RSA VPN Token and activation
. Sent mass email to user(s)
. Issue RSA VPN Token to user(s)
. Generate Asset Issuance form
(4) Wipe old machines - laptop n desktop
. Using wiping software to wipe data from harddisk
. Record serial and asset numbers
(5) Asset verification via email
. Send email to user with asset details
. Communicate with user to verify assets on hand
(6) IPU - Upgrade Window OS
. For walk-in user(s)
. Follow procedures to upgrade user's laptop
(7) Condemn old assets and return to vendor
. Prepare asset list with serial and asset numbers, brand, type
. Issue condemn items to vendor during collection
(8) And any other ad-hoc duties, when required to provide support
