This position will start off as 10 months contract.
Location:
Orchid Park Secondary School, at Yishun
Responsibilities:
- Work with students with SEN on their specific learning needs outside of class setting. These learning needs can include socialization skills, communication skills, self-management, self-control, study skills and/or strategies to focus on their strengths and learning.
- Observe and work with specific students in the class to follow teacher instructions and to ensure safety and a conducive learning environment for the students and others.
- Support students with SEN during events such as Learning Journeys, school camps, sports events and other co-curricular activities.
- Assist in the running of SEN-based after-school programmes either to provide more holistic support to SEN students or in upscaling teachers’ skills in managing SEN students.
- Document work with these students and assist with any work-related administrative duties.
Working Hour:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 5pm
Salary:
Up to $2000+ (Depending on experience)
