Position Overview:-
We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful intern to join our team at Amand Ventures. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the investment team in evaluating potential opportunities, conducting market research and contributing to the overall success of our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:-
● Market Research/Deal Sourcing: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging technologies and industry trends, potential disruptors and investment opportunities within the startup ecosystem in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region.
● Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by conducting thorough research and participating in meetings with potential investees.
● Reporting/Record Keeping: Assist in the preparation of thorough and well-documented investment memos, summarizing key findings as well as maintain organized, up-to-date documentation of all investment-related activities, ensuring easy retrieval of information for reporting, audits and internal reference.
Qualifications:-
● Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
● Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to critically assess business plans and financial models.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
● Passion for entrepreneurship, startups and emerging technologies.
● Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
