Primary Objectives of Position
- He/she will support the team to develop and roll-out a volunteer management framework
- Tracking the recruitment of volunteers, training for volunteers and volunteer engagement and appreciation.
- He/she will also work with stakeholders to ascertain best practices that inform our volunteer management processes
- He/she will work with service director and centre managers to consolidate and strengthen volunteer efforts to foster a unified identity across HSC volunteers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the HSC volunteer management programmes.
- Manage volunteers and ensure regular engagement.
- Execute best practices in volunteer management, improving the experience of volunteers and building internal capability to strengthen volunteer management.
- Design and implement volunteer engagement programmes e.g. learning journey, networking opportunities, appreciation events.
- Analyse engagement efforts and reports.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners such as community partners to facilitate ground-up volunteer initiatives.
- Administer annual volunteer survey.
- Develop and maintain an accurate database for tracking/reporting.
- Engage advocates and share volunteers’ stories.
- Ensure clients’/residents’ confidentiality is maintained and adhere to PDPA policy.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Business or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably in the Social Service or Events Management industry
- Must have passion to serve the elderly and underprivileged
- Be meticulous and able to think out of the box
- Good team player but also able to work independently
