In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you’ll drive the development of region-specific and global product priorities, as well as drive growth of our Wallet markets in APAC.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with multiple Product Areas in the APAC region across Payments and Android to identify and develop market-focused solutions built on the core global Wallet product (e.g., local transit systems, local forms of payments, local IDs, regulatory requirements).
- Define the vision and strategy for adoption and growth of Wallet usage in region.
- Work across multiple cross-functional teams to deliver against the global expansion plan for Wallet.
- Own the roadmap for various global priorities that are being driven from our China Engineering sites (Beijing, Shanghai).
- Lead a team of product managers to execute on key priorities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management, including consumer-facing product impact.
- 5 years of experience managing teams of product managers, and partnership with executive-level engineering and UX stakeholders.
- Experience delivering to executive-level and above audiences, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with wallet or payments related product management.
- Ability to manage both remote and local teams, and coordinate across multiple time zones.
