Description
• Work on environment activities (Release and Environment Integration).
• Work will encompass working with the global development community on Non-Prod environments on ensuring that the S2I system for non-production (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, etc) are available and functional.
• Work on incident management for the environment and deployment issues.
Professional Competences (Know-How)
• Well-versed with S2I Qore development methodologies and framework for Cobol.
• Should be able to interpret sysout logs and debug s2i issues.
• Manage S2I Qore Non-Prod Environments, with the EXPL Team, to ensure that S2I is on time.
• Provide dashboard reports, providing batch status for Non-Prod environments.
• Should be aware of Azqore systems and should be able to use Source code management in Git. For development in Qore
• Should be well versed with S2I Qore development components: Cobol, scripts, parameters and resources.
• Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
• Should be well aware of Azqore environments and tools.
• Good inter-team collaboration skills for release management.
• Should be able to manage Release management activities (Non-Prod environment deployments, Prod deployments for Releases, Non-Prod environment refresh etc) on a need basis.
• Analytical, Reporting & Documentation
• Team player with an attitude to learn and share knowledge across partner teams
• 10 To 15 Years of total experience
• 2 to 3 years of Core Banking experience
• COBOL knowledge (Must have)
• Unix Scripting, DB2, Scheduling Source code management in Git, COBOL eclipse
• Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Gitlab, Jira
