Job Description
- To plan and execute Mechanical Equipment / Piping installation, construction, Testing and Commissioning works.
- Supervise and coordinate the project's day-to-day site activities. Close coordination with other discipline members, clients, consultants, sub-contractors, etc.
- Develop and manage engineering and construction schedules for projects. Prepare project monthly progress reports, daily reports, etc.
- Facilitate project meetings with clients, contractors, and other key persons and prepare Minutes of Meetings.
- Ensure that site works have proper safety documents and follow correct safety procedures, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure all WSH safety procedures are followed.
- Able to review, and prepare method statements, risk assessment, and safe work procedures for all site activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Able to prepare, read, and amend GA drgs, Piping Isometric drgs, PI&Ds etc.
- Prepare BoQ, Procure Materials, arrange construction equipment etc.
- Assisting PM on progressive monthly claim and payment response matters with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers.
- Preparation of O&M Manual and As-Built drawings for handing over to the client. Punch list clearance.
- Other ad-hoc assigned by the superior in charge
- Able to work independently, good team member, and communicate with all levels.
- Willing to work long hours and on weekends as and when required by work.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ applicable experience in Mechanical Construction / EPC projects, Piping, Equipment Installation etc.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project etc).
- Experience in both mainland and Jurong Island projects is preferred.
- BCSS and WAH Supervisor/ Assessor certificate is an advantage.
- Familiar with Lifting works, Scaffolding works, Hot works etc.
- Knowledge in process piping, pump installation etc.
