Job Description
- Perform underwriting assessment for High Net Worth (HNW) and non-HNW cases primarily from offshore customers within assigned authority and support daily operational tasks. Provide underwriting-related support for the ad-hoc tasks that was assigned.
- Key responsibilities include performing underwriting assessment for new business applications including HNW cases, achieving underwriting KPIs through active case management. Scope includes Life, HSG, Accident & Health .
- Reviewing complex appeal cases and coaching junior underwriters to underwrite large sum assured cases.
- Actively handling own cases appeal with team lead and postpone and decline cases by directly communicating to agent or BDM on the rationale and any other option that can be explored.
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years experience as an Underwriter for Universal Life products
- Have a minimum of USD 5 million underwriting authority
- Bachelors Degree and above
