An opportunity as a Piping Supervisor awaits the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
· Support applicable project specifications and standard codes were correctly executed during piping fabrication and erection
· Assist in fabrication and erection of pipe spools and pipe supports as per latest issued construction drawing.
· Assist in piping works to be performed by construction sub-contractor and to ensure the compliance with established the construction activities.
· Aid in site surveys with sub-contractors engineering group to propose new routes and locations for expansion facilities where interference occurred.
· Assist in all site activities are performed in environmentally safe and responsible manner.
· Support weekly HSE assessments and safety walk through, safe and unsafe auditing.
· Assist engineering queries from sub-contractors at site and proposals and give recommendations.
· Assist the construction sub-contractor ensuring the compliance with the applicable specification and standard.
· Assist the proper execution of inspection and test in accordance with the field quality control plan and monitor the adequacy result.
· Support the preparation of piping systems for testing based on the test pack limits specified in the approved test packs.
· Aid in test package as per piping system and test package priority schedule.
· Support final walkthrough of completed piping systems and verify clearing of all punch list prior to mechanical completion.
· Assist the Field Quality Control Plan/Procedures and construction specification for construction activities.
· Assist timely resolution of any QC problems encountered during construction.
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Piping Work Supervision and Quality Control ideally dealing with Air Seperation Unit related industry
· Past experience on TCN, ASU, APSA projects and working experience is a plus
· Oil and Gas experience will be an added advantage
