Assistant Manager, Credit Risk

We are looking for a pro-active individual and a strong team player, who wants to grow with Income, to join us.


We are looking for a Financial Risk Management team member with strengths in credit and market risks to complement our team. As part of your responsibilities, you will be:

  • Maintaining the risk policies, framework, calibrating limits and performing associated work related to credit, market and other risks to ensure that we operate within our risk appetite.
  • Perform reviews on and independent validation of our internal credit rating process which is largely in fixed income as part of regulatory expectation.
  • Provide risk management advice on proposed investment strategy, initiatives and waivers of limits and determine the implications on our risk profile.
  • Generating and monitoring market and credit risks summary report regularly.
  • Contribute meaningfully to asset liability management.
  • Participate in other projects across teams and departments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantitative Finance/Financial Engineering/Financial Mathematics/Actuarial/Statistics or CFA equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in insurance sector or credit rating model will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of programming in VBA, and in Python or SQL is a plus
  • Experience in using Bloomberg or Factset system is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical matters in a clear and concise manner
  • Good teamwork with excellent internal and external relationships
