Our Client:
Our client is the leading manufacturing public listed company in US. They are actively looking to hire a Cost Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage costing functions, including standard cost amortization, variance analysis, and cost summary review
- Update annual standard costs in the Oracle system
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, covering collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, and dispute resolution
- Review and manage Ship & Debit claims from distributors
- Assist in audits, particularly inventory and distributor audits, involving minimal travel
- Handle inventory-related tasks, such as E&O provisions, account reconciliation, in-transit review, and distributor inventory reconciliations
- Review, upload, and validate Point of Sale (POS) transactions
- Manage accruals for various items, including samples, adders, and wafer receipts
- Handle Return Material Authorization accruals and reviews
- Review, accrue, authorize, and process rebates
- Validate and review the Discrepant Material Requisition process
- Collaborate with auditors on specific duties
- Participate in new system implementations and projects
- Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Director
The Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing working experience
- Audit experience in a reputable accounting firm
- Professional qualification (e.g., CA, ICMAI, or CPA)
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot table, VLOOKUP)
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP/Oracle
