Responsibilities:
· Handle confidential finance matters and budget preparation of the company
· Prepare periodic and ad-hoc department financial reports
· Prepare commission payouts involving verification and processing of statements - timely and accurate data entry is essential
· Prepare tax invoices and monthly payments
· Maintain cash book and bank reconciliations
· Tabulate monthly and quarterly account management fee
· Liaise with Private Banks and Financial Institutions for reports and payments
· Prepare and submit MAS Quarterly Report
· Attend to audit, income tax and indirect tax matters
· Ensure that all accounting work complies with the management and regulatory requirements
· Maintain complete sets of accounts by relevant accounting standards
· Assist in the functions of the Group Finance department, supporting the department in ad hoc accounting duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
· Possess a strong aptitude for problem-solving
· Effective organisational and communication skills
· Resourceful and innovative, analytical and meticulous, able to work independently
· Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, v-lookup)
· Experience in Quickbooks is an advantage
