Details of the Division and Team: Risk & Portfolio Management (RPM) is part of the global Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) group and is responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive risk-to-revenue strategy in order to maximize portfolio risk/returns while proactively managing risk and balance sheet consumption. Portfolio Management is responsible for ensuring TF&L perform optimally within the Key Performance Indicators for risk and resource utilization on a regional and global level, and for allocating financial resources to fit TF&L strategic goals with an emphasis on risk awareness, sustainable business, and efficient resource utilization. The TF&L APAC Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for further improving the risk-reward of the TF&L APAC portfolio through efficient allocation of risk resources by: Monitoring the development of the overall financial risk and profitability of the TF&L APAC portfolio Identifying and driving portfolio optimization while ensuring the APAC TF&L portfolio performs optimally within agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Opining on individual deals that do not meet minimum risk-reward targets, fall outside of established product frameworks, and all new products/structures. Working with regional sales, TF&L management and other RPM teams as well as key stakeholders (CRM, treasury, FRM, etc.) to optimally manage the risk and resources of assigned portfolio. Function as a center of competence for value-added transactions, structuring, and new initiatives Collaborate with Sales Structuring and Distribution units on risk mitigation strategies that both reduce risks and optimize financial resources efficiently. Analysis and assessment of the impact of changes in supervisory regulations on the TF&L APAC portfolio and corresponding adjustment of business strategies in collaboration with FRM etc. Performance of event driven ad hoc analytics including for senior management Your skills and experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or equivalent At least 5 years expertise in corporate or transaction banking with major bank or financial institution Minimum 7 years risk management experience in either first line or second line capacity Sound understanding of regulation (Basel 3, CRR 3 etc.) and experience in assessing impact of relevant changes High affinity to IT topics, experience in handling databases (e.g.Trade Sense, VBA), Experience in project management with very good coordination and communication skills Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office.
