We’re looking for a Head of People to join Intellect and lead the charge for People at Asia’s leading and fastest growing mental healthcare company. You will be overseeing, building, and guiding a team of inspired action takers that are creating the future of mental healthcare across Asia.

In this role you will play the important leading role of our People function, spearheading our people processes, culture, engagement, and organisational development programs.

You will be working alongside our leadership and talent team, to synergise the best of different perspectives to build a high performing and mentally healthy workforce.

People Experience (Benefits, Engagement, Development)

  • Works in close partnership with leadership to establish the overarching People strategy and alignment with Intellect's vision, mission, culture, and goals
  • Provides strategic insights around employee experience, delivering end-to-end transformations of workforce programs, services, and processes to drive the success of teams and the overall workforce
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and responds to HR questions
  • Assists in administering new hire orientation and ensures a positive on- and offboarding experience
  • Identifies Intellect workforce needs, defines the people strategy, and designs frameworks for employers to implement HR initiatives effectively
  • Coordinates monthly HR events and programs (e.g., Lunch N’ Learn sessions, Employee Anniversary Program, Socials, etc.)
  • Actively contributes to building the employer brand across different platforms
  • Champions a cultural ethos and creates an inclusive workplace with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and belonging for all employees
    Supports company benefits administration, enrollment planning, and execution

People Operations (HR & Admin Operations)

  • Contributes to people and organisation correspondence (e.g., Back-to-office programs, organising training and events, company communication, etc.)
  • Manages logistical aspects of onboarding, including coordinating the procurement and setup of equipment such as laptops and ensuring a smooth integration into the company's technology and communication systems
  • Maintains and updates data in our HRIS/EOR system across countries and audits for accuracy and compliance, adding relevant policies and documents
  • Completes any other duties associated with human resources operations

Organisational Growth / Development

  • Monitors and measures career progression; creates and executes action plans to support team achievement of performance objectives
  • Provides HR expertise and counsel in the areas of feedback, performance management, employee relations, development and coaching, and organisational development
  • Develops talent strategies for key stakeholders and designs approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organisational effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Assists in organisational structure planning alongside the strategy and talent acquisition teams

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR, with with experience in a leadership role or supporting senior HR leadership
  • Proven track record of success in managing people functions within a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation, preferably within the healthcare or tech industry
  • Experience in scaling HR processes and programs to support the needs of a mid-sized company with a global presence
  • Demonstrated expertise in people experience, people operations, talent management, and organisational development
  • Proficient in utilising and/or implementing HR systems and processes to streamline operations
  • In-depth understanding of local required benefits across diverse APAC countries
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent attention to detail
  • Effective collaborator with the ability to work seamlessly across different teams and functions within the company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams
  • Open to candidates from Singapore and Malaysia (remote)
