VentureBlick is a dynamic healthcare startup with a passionate team of 30 employees, operating across 4 countries. As the Finance & Accounting Manager, you will start off as the sole member of our finance team, playing a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and operations. Your expertise will guide our financial decisions and practices as we expand our global presence and impact in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports & statements to the Leadership Team, providing insights for strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all countries of operation
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
- Manage cash flow and funding requirements, including foreign exchange considerations for international operations
- Coordinate financial audits for VentureBlick, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Requirements
- It is essential that this individual has worked in a supervisory role in the finance function for a startup with international operations
- Prior experience working in a Big 4 audit firm would be highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certified
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
