The role of Editor/Videographer is a critical one in our team’s ability to tell stories. You are required to possess an exceptional level of both technical and creative abilities to be able to effectively create the vision creatives and clients have in mind.
As an Editor/Videographer
- Lead creative composition of moving visuals and motion graphics to tell a story as required with minimal supervision
- Work alongside creative teams and producers to create original video content and commercials for our clients
- Work alongside creative teams and producers to adapt and localise international commercials/content for various platforms with assets for social platforms being a key requirement
- Must be able to edit without storyboards or provide your own interpretation of an offline edit
- Deliver projects to a high standard within specified time frames
- Offer diverse film and music references
- Export, compress and re-format video files
- Stay up to date with current moving image trends
- Contribute to creative solutions within the post-production unit
- Main camera operator for all shoots in different environment and situations
- Carry out basic audio recording
- Advise producers/directors on camera techniques and creative angles
- Work independently without producer/director at location (when necessary)
- Work within a small crew to deliver videos for social platforms
- Be able to switch mindsets quickly with few complaints
