The Finance Analyst reports to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Reporting and Business Planning Assistant Manager.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of monthly financial reports for APAC reporting purposes on a timely manner.
- Assist in preparation and provides supporting analysis, engagement, and results at the region, business unit and support function level on a scheduled basis.
- Identifies areas for improvement of data tracking, metrics, and intelligence gathering.
- Discussing with team members to investigate anomalies and trends, derive insights and present outputs and recommendations.
- Utilize multiple data sets and sources to design and develop metrics, reports and dashboards to provide financial overview.
- Involved in preparation of annual business planning process, monitor the implementation, adjust forecast according to business plan regularly, and prepare various management reports.
- Ability to think creatively and provide solutions for process efficiency improvement.
- To support implementation of process improvement projects to new/existing processes.
- Any other tasks as and when assigned by manager.
Job requirements
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
- Ability to multi-task and is a good team player.
