Job Description:
The candidate needs to develop data-efficient speech and language processing algorithms to meet Singapore's strategic national needs. These multimodal representation learning techniques need to incorporate insights from human potential domain (e.g. EdTech) to enable practical and deployable innovations. Strong problem solving, coding, and communications skills are expected. Publications at top NLP/AI/ML/Speech venues are expected.
Job Requirement:
- PhD in speech and spoken language processing, machine learning, AI
- At least 2 years of experience
- Proficient programming skills, familiarity with Linux
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to replicate and reproduce state-of-the-art models and results, and then innovate on top of these benchmarks
- Publications at top AI/NLP/ML and speech venues are a must
