PURPOSE
- To support user acceptance testing of new product launches, system enhancements and change requests.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- To understand business requirements and system changes and prepare test plans/scenarios.
- To prepare test strategy, test scenarios and execute user acceptance testing.
- To update testing errors and discuss about fixes and solution with IT and Business Analyst
- Liaise with development teams on the defects and coordinate the delivery of the defects
- Liaise with business teams, walkthrough UAT test plans and provide regular update on the overall testing, defects, and the delivery status during daily triage calls.
- To ensure that test results and evidence are properly documented and archived.
- Ad-hoc tasks/duties as assigned by the manager
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Degree holders preferred. Diploma, A or O level holders may be considered.
- Experience in user acceptance testing required.
- IT Savvy
- Positive work attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
- Aptitude for testing with an eye for detail.
- Manual testing, automation testing of any core application, web applications will be good.
- Working knowledge of SQLs and APIs is a plus.
- Proficient in graphic design and/or design software tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of life insurance product is preferred.
