We are hiring a dynamic SIP Engineer to join our clients Access/Shared Services Engineering team. Be a key player in program management, engineering documentation, and support for business-initiated projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide program guidance and develop engineering timelines.
- Support projects, ensuring effective communication with leadership.
- Develop project quotes, including equipment placement and licensing considerations.
- Create supporting documentation: BOMs, cost estimates, and equipment placement requests.
- Offer specialized support in complex integrated configurations involving Sonus/Ribbon SBC, SecureLogix, Intrado E911, SIP, Session Management, LAN/WAN, and VoIP.
- Conduct SIT testing, document results, and develop scripts for implementations.
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of telecommunications experience.
- Strong knowledge of Sonus/Ribbon GSX/7k Session Border Controller, SIP/TDM Trunking.
- Proficiency in SIP, RTP/RTCP, ISDN, H.323, H248, MGCP, codecs, QoS configurations, LAN/WAN communications.
- Extensive PBX/ACD experience, including CTI, IVR, call flows, and system architecture.
- Proven experience in configuration and support within a complex network environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in geographically dispersed teams and high-pressure environments.
