1. Patient and Physician Assistance, including:
- Provide information to patients about clinic procedures and recommended treatment plans.
- Patients’ registration and verification of insurance coverage.
- Schedule and manage appointments and treatment follow up.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms, proper equipment setup, and availability of supplies.
- Assist Sports Physician during patient examinations or minor medical procedures.
- Act as the point of contact between the Physician and internal/external clients.
- Produce reports, presentations, and briefs.
2. Administrative Support, including:
- Maintain and organize patient records, including medical history, personal information, and billing details.
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of medical records and other administrative documents.
- Assist in handling patient billing, insurance claims, and payment processing.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule diagnostic tests, surgeries, or medical procedures for patients.
- Collaborate with external parties such as laboratories, pharmacies, and insurance companies, as necessary.
- Manage and stock office supplies, maintain inventory, and place orders when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area, waiting room, and administrative areas.
- Follow proper infection control protocols and assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor of Sports & Exercise Science, or equivalent
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior clinic experience & knowledge of Plato will be an advantage
- 5.5 days work week
