Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Director in planning, execution, and closure of construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, timeliness and budgetary/financial requirements.
- Provide direction and mentorship to project, WSH teams, fostering a collaborative, productive, safe and high-performance work environment.
- Able to lead and inspire high performance, to ensure project specifications are executed in a safe, timely, efficient and effective manners.
- Ensure all commercial, contractual and procurement activities on the project are managed in a timely and transparent manner to avoid any cost and time risk to the Project.
- Foster harmonious, positive and sustainable client, internal and external stakeholders’ (e.g consultants, government agencies, public, subcontractors, etc) relationships and ensure their expectations, needs, requirements are met and constantly throughout the whole project life cycle
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by PE Board
- Proven experience as a Deputy/Assistant Project Manager or in a similar role in the construction industry, with minimum of 15 years of experience in CAG, LTA, PUB or any civil projects with leading A1 Contractors and/or consultancy firms, with contract sum of > $105M.
- Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team
