During Farm Operation
• Primarily responsibility for overseeing the overall production of the Farm.
• Ensuring high quality, consistent and highly productive produce in accordance with the business plan set
out by the Company.
• Driving effective utilization, and management of the Company’s resources – equipment and manpower.
• Lead, motivate, and support a team for effective management of production process.
• Selection of suitable seeds for selected crop varieties for higher yield which is resistant to pest and suitable
for given climatic condition.
• Selection of right mix of growing media for selected crop varieties.
• Selection of right mix of nutrient solution to better yield with higher nutritional value.
• Operation & optimization of irrigation and climate control system.
• Manage data collection, analysis and optimization of production data, nutrient consumption, growing media
usages, energy usage etc. to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, and eliminate errors.
• Ensuring compliance with the food safety requirement during production.
• Carries out laboratory tests of growing media, seed, and crop samples.
During Farm Construction
• Review of design and further optimization wherever necessary.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure design compliance and monitoring of their progress as per agreed
delivery schedule.
• Work with suppliers for seed, nutrient, growing media to be production ready.
• Participate in commissioning of various system along with supplier’s supervisor.
• Attend training conducted by suppliers.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings.
•Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
• To follow all reasonable instructions of the Employer, the management of the Employer, or the designated supervisor.
