DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
PLAN
· Plan and forecast project monthly and weekly installation schedules.
· Anticipate potential site issues and eliminate any risks.
· Liaise with site person-in-charge for work arrangement and manpower planning.
· Liaise with suppliers for delivery of materials and equipment by raising MERF (material- equipment-requisition-form) for approval.
DO
· Attend regular project meetings (such as site progress and co-ordination) with interested parties including clients, architect, consultants, main contractor, and sub-contractors.
· Monitor, co-ordinate and direct the execution of work with site representatives and workers for smooth workflow.
· Submit method statement, risk assessment and shop drawing.
· Submit progress report and progress claim.
CHECK
· Ensure design of Mechanical & Electrical work meets with clients’ requirements.
· Perform pre-inspection of deliverable material and equipment, and after delivery inspection for any defective goods.
· Inspect site installation work for quality and assurance.
· Conduct joint site inspection with client’s representatives.
· Conduct pre-testing and commissioning activities.
ACT
· Clearance of defects and outstanding works.
· Prepare as-built drawings for joint inspection with clients’ representatives.
· Prepare Operation & Maintenance manuals for client’s acceptance.
· Assist in the settlement of project final account including variation orders.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
· Candidate with experience managing LTA projects will be an added advantage.
