Job Description
- Process/ mechanical design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, equipment specification/data sheet, etc.
- Provide process / mechanical input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work;
- Technical review of equipment/system vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement detailed design and installation stages;
- Prepare the process / mechanical submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments;
- Manage the equipment suppliers / subcontractors to meet the project schedule for design, installation and testing & commissioning;
- Support on the testing and commissioning work.
Requirements
- Able to work in Tuas area.
- Minimum bachelor degree in chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience in process/mechanical design of process plant (incineration plant, chemical plant, water/wastewater plant, etc); For senior position, candidate must have at least 7 years of experience.
- Familiar with relevant standard and Singapore code of practice;
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects.
- Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
- Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly used software applications such as MS Office.
- Knowledge in Naviswork and Bentley View Software for P&ID will be an added advantage.
