Salary: Up to $8000 per month + bonus
Working hours: Monday to Friday, office hours (4 day WIO, 1 day WFH)
Job Responsibilities:
- Directly report to the Assistant Manager/Manager, taking charge of implementing, sustaining, and enhancing DevSecOps methodologies
- Set up and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate efficient software deployment
- Employ scripting and automation tools for the automation of routine tasks, including test automation
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to simplify deployment processes, boost system dependability, and optimize performance
- Work alongside development teams to streamline the automation of deployment and orchestration procedures
- Oversee application performance, troubleshoot issues, and introduce improvements for optimal functionality
- Contribute to the strategic planning and design of the roadmap for the implementation and upkeep of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to facilitate effective system provisioning
- Guarantee the robustness, scalability, and security of applications by executing and refining DevSecOps protocols
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to fortify the security of applications
- Participate in on-call rotations to offer support during non-office hours when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven track record - at least 5 years of hands on experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, showcasing a solid understanding of agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies
- Proficient in scripting and coding languages (Python, Bash etc.)
- Demonstrated competence in Test automation scripting languages using any test automation tools
- Prior hands-on experience working with Azure cloud platforms
- Familiarity with tools related to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Sound knowledge of version control systems (Git etc.)
- Additional advantage for holding relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer etc.)
- Optional - Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, utilizing tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template
