Job Description:
· Own the portfolio of active projects and minor changes with responsibility for aligning this portfolio of work to agreed business and IT expectations;
· Lead project mobilisation, including developing the resourcing strategy for delivering various types of change and working with the Head of IT to engage vendors;
· Ensure projects and ongoing change are delivered on time, within budget and meet the expectations of the project sponsor(s);
· Perform day-to-day management of Project Teams, working closely with their Line Managers, including the Enterprise Business Architect (BAs), Solution Architect (Developers) and Release & QA Manager (QA);
· Use processes and tools, including Teams, Confluence & JIRA;
· Work closely with the Release & QA Manager to plan a roadmap of releases taking into account interdependencies between changes and the need to go through a joint SIT, regression testing and release cycle for all Allegro changes;
· Ensure inputs are taken from users and IT stakeholders, thereby logging project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies;
· Provide regular project updates to business stakeholders and other relevant IT stakeholders;
- Drive and deliver the implementation of quality data to support the production of crucial project metrics across project milestones, effort, requirements, scope change and resource utilisation.
Requirements:
· At least ten years of experience as a Project Manager in ETRM IT within a trading house, investment bank, or through a tier-1 vendor/consultancy;
· Good understanding of the trade lifecycle for financial and physical commodities (including gas, coal, LNG or physical oil);
· Experience as a Project Manager on an ETRM implementation or in delivering 3rd line support / small change, e.g. Allegro, Endur, Aspect.
