Job Summary
The role as a Sales Manager is to develop and grow a mix of new and existing accounts, drive sustainable financial growth through increasing sales and forging strong relationships with customers, as well as manage a small team of sales personnel.
Job Description
Essential functions
1. Create and develop strategy and plans to address customers’ needs, in line with strategy to drive revenue growth
2. Work towards monthly sales targets with the sales team
3. Maintain, develop and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers for company’s growth sustainability
4. Negotiate terms of agreement and closing sales, preparing of sales contracts in adherence to local country regulatory rules and guidelines
5. Detailing of company products to optical outlet stakeholders, and provide advice on product information, or any special promotions.
6. Direct and coordinate all sales activities locally
7. Plan and direct the hiring and training of new sales representatives
8. Prepare of sales budgets and projections
9. Work closely with marketing team to plan and execute marketing promotions, campaigns or training activities
10. Build in-store brand presence and visibility with customers
11. Gather customer and market information in a timely manner to stay competitive
12. Represent the company in trade shows, events and exhibitions
13. Handle and resolve customer complaints in an amicable manner
Job Requirement
- B2B2C sales experience. Optical industry preferred.
- Experience in myopia management related products will be a plus.
