IPS is hiring! We are looking for a talented Senior Project Engineer to join our industry leading Engineering team at our growing office in Singapore.
The Senior Project Engineer will manage deliverables from design team for excellent inter-discipline coordination. Will be responsible for Engineering Deliverables’ overall Quality, Services Cost and Design schedule. The assignments include specific tasks on project teams and the Project/Design Manager should use their education, creativity and expertise to resolve Inter-disciplinary engineering problems and tasks as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Coordination - Overall responsibilities, both fiscally and technically, for the project while maintaining customer relations.
- Interdisciplinary Team and Design Coordination - Responsible for overall design deliverables and coordination with interdisciplinary design team.
- Generates/Supports Development of Design Deliverables including Specifications, Data Sheets as well as supporting Design narratives.
- Adheres to Project/ design scopes of work for each project and alerts Client and Management about changes or requests for additional services.
- Generates/Supports Development of Equipment Requisitions & Works’ Packages for bid.
- Generates/Supports Development of techno-Commercial Bid Analysis
- Coordinates Review of vendor submittals and documents
- Coordinate with Client and provides design team with required input
- Sees that satisfactory relationships are maintained with internal and external team - clients, consultants and other project team members.
- Provides site support on projects as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of Process/Mechanical engineering design experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Bio-Pharm industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience of Interdisciplinary Design Coordination and Client/Internal Team Management.
- General knowledge of Bio-Pharma Process system design and applicable codes in Process/Mechanical engineering.
- Strong Design background and Technical focus
- Has a demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to manage Design/Engineering deliverables on Bio-Pharma/cGMP Clean Industrial projects,
- Good Verbal and Written Communication and Problem solving Skills are essential
- Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Nutraceutical industry experience is required.
- AutoCAD experience will be an advantage.
