Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules
- Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies
- Coordinate WSH programme initiatives
- Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
- Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report
- Ensure project’s compliance with all statutory requirements at all times
- Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place
Job Requirement:
- Registered WSHO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
- Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
- Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
- A team player and able to work with all levels
