Responsibilities:
- Strategize and execute projects pertaining to infrastructure operations encompassing Service Desk, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and operations of Windows and Linux environments, servers/desktops, VMware, and storage systems.
- Contribute significantly to solution design and engineering in areas such as Service Desk, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and operations of Windows/Linux, servers/desktops, VMware, and storage systems.
- Proficiently support VMware 6.x and above, with expertise in vSphere, vRealize Operations, and Horizon, providing a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate closely with the Information Security department to ensure compliance with information security audit requirements.
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions and/or highly available redundant technology.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in implementing systems supporting corporate business operations.
- Broad expertise in technology encompassing design, delivery, and support.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced proficiency in VMware (VCP6.5 DCV or higher) and Microsoft (MCSE).
- Proficient in PowerCLi scripting for reporting and automation.
- Essential understanding of networks, switches, and SAN; advantageous hardware knowledge.
- Preferably experienced in ITIL practices.
