Description for Centre of Excellence (COE) Coaches
Responsible for
1. The overall process of planning, selection, preparation and participation of the Club’s designated Youth team (U13, U15, U17 or U21) in the FAS COE League and/or any other sanctioned tournaments organized or approved by FAS
2. Establishing and/or implementing a clear, consistent and continuous year-long scouting system for player selection based on FAS talent scouting procedures and criteria
3. Selecting and finalizing a squad of youth players that suits the playing styles and philosophies as promulgated by the FAS National Football Development Plan, based on the VISION and related meaningful VALUES (faith, trust, integrity, teamwork, etc)
4. The preparation of the team’s Annual Planning tool which shall cover the annual, monthly, weekly training phases to improve the mental, technical, tactical and physical aspects for each individual player and the team
5. Undertaking all the management and administrative tasks related to the role of the Head Coach of the Club youth team
6. The implementation of the above training plans using all the available resources provided by the Club, stakeholders, partners and FAS
7. The management, coordination and delivery of every training session and playing in matches with all support staff
8. The continuous monitoring of all players in the squad to ensure optimal performance during training and matches
9. The full participation and contribution in all Continuous Coach Education (CCE) activities organized by FAS and/or her authorized agents
10. Supporting all the initiatives, processes and procedures by FAS and/or the Club in ensuring that the existing Club Licensing requirements are met as per the existing Regulations
11. Supporting all the initiatives, processes and procedures by FAS and/or the Club in ensuring that individual player development is a top priority
12. Ensuring full commitment given for their participation in the FAS COE League and any other FAS competitions
13. Ensuring compliance to existing Codes of Conduct, Regulations, Guidelines, Framework, contractual obligations and other directives from time to time by FAS and/or the Club
14. Upholding Fairplay and good sportsmanship as promulgated in the Code of Conduct
15. Initiating and maintaining regular communications with stakeholders like parents, teachers, schools, peers, FAS and other partners to ensure optimal development of players
16. Not undertaking any other coaching positions/appointments, voluntary or otherwise, which will deviate and dilute his/her role as the Head Coach of the Club youth team
17. Not being involved in any other activities, voluntary or otherwise, which will affect his/her contribution, commitment and coaching activities as the Head Coach of the Club youth team
