This is a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your primary responsibility is to analyze the business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose IT solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, managers, and IT teams, to elicit and document business requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document the desired future state of business processes and systems. Develop functional specifications and use cases to communicate requirements to development teams. Propose IT solutions, such as software applications, systems integration, or process changes, to address business needs.
- Create comprehensive and detailed requirements documentation, including functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure clarity, consistency, and completeness of requirements to guide the development and testing phases.
- Assist in managing the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and people. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with implementing new solutions and work with stakeholders to develop change management strategies.
- Collaborate with the testing team to define test scenarios and validate that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting to ensure successful implementation.
Your Profile:
- Must be a Singaporean Citizen to get the required clearance.
- 3 years’ IT Business Analyst experience or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of business processes.
- Stakeholder/client management skills.
- Experienced in developing user manuals.
- Experienced in creating & performing acceptance test plans.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
