Objective:
To develop, direct and coordinate material planning activities that support the production plan in order to fulfill committed orders and optimize inventory.
Job Description & Requirements
- Responsible in planning and scheduling of production line using computerized MRP II in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- To collaborate with internal supplier to ensure supply continuity.
- Analyze key planning parameters to achieve a balance between inventory and forecast.
- To minimize and avoid slow moving and obsolescent materials
- To achieve Inventory Holding target
- To achieve On Time Delivery target
Requirements
- Diploma in Production Engineering.
- Preferably with at least 3 years’ Planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in LEAN initiatives
- Candidates with SAP knowledge will have an added advantage.
- Self-motivated and a good team player
