Responsibilities
- Early involvement into project tender phase, to work with pre-sale team in the analyzing project deliverables, resource requirements, cost / budgeting, scheduling and risk managements.
- Knowledge and experience in ICT Project will have significant advantage.
- To manage a project, from contract sign-off, until the project acceptance and project closure.
- Effective use of project management methods, technical apprehension to manage Projects during the project implementation, and ensure on time and to specifications delivery.
- To hold internal / external project meeting.
- To engage with customer, or relevant parties if project is delay and able to lead internal and external team to get it resolve
- To liaise with supply chain in ensuring the goods manufacturing and shipment are on track.
- To engage sub-contractor, to specify the installation scope and time-frame, to carry out onsite infrastructure installation. And to prepare procurement request to admin to raise PO to sub-contractor.
- As a system integrator (SI), to manage 3rd party vendor in ensuring the contractual obligations and deliverable are properly managed and executed to ensure successful project rollout.
- To manage and lead the team of engineers and R&D, to ensure the project is delivered as per contract obligations and project scheduling and budgeting.
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, Telecommunications or IT technology.
- Preferably with minimum 3 years working experience in project management or the telecommunications industry, especially in the role of project manager. Preference will be given to candidates with project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, CITPM.
- Sound understanding of ICT related technology such as networking system, storage, UPS, software systems and communications.
- Good negotiation and influencing skill, and working independently are essential. Good interpersonal skills, and be both a leader and a team player across different groups and levels.
- Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies, Knowledge of IP network deployment and data storage system, power system (LV), cyber security, or experience in various IT Projects is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of legal contracts.
- Basic financial knowledge of project procurement, including capital and operational expenditures
