Operations Engineer (Pharma Industry)

We are seeking for a Senior / Operations Engineer to support our client in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant for the duration of 1 year. The incumbent will be responsible for smooth operations of key support systems such as Deionized water, scrubbers, vent header, and floor drains.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures related to the key support systems (Deionized water system, IBC washer, etc)
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the key support systems
  • Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues in key support system
  • Develop, implement and monitor robust preventive measures for key support systems
  • Ensure the key support system meets the site safety and quality standards
  • Monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in support systems
  • Communicate on a regular basis to the plant personnel on process updates
  • Train the process technicians on the key support system procedures as required
  • Ensure adherence to the key support system procedures and update changes as required
  • Be the subject matter expert and system owner for key support system. Present the system to external and internal auditors
  • Annual Budgeting of Operations consumables to meet production plan
  • Perform daily, weekly and annual review and reporting of key support system, sampling schedule and results
  • Represent operation as the subject matter expert for regulatory audit for key support system

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 - 3 years of GMP experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a MUST
  • Able to generate, manage, and carry out change control and deviation records in trackwise
  • High energy and attention to details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be comfortable with contract basis role
